You can't say that the mph were good for a 14sec pass cause it doesn't work like that. You can run 16 sec and run 92mph.
But good run.

ok well if ur doing a 16 at 90+ mph then stop racing ur car bc u cant drive. do some camparisons to other cars, anyone with 90+mph was in 14s and all had a better launch then i did. best i can do on these tires is low 2.2...only pulled a 2.19 once then missed 2nd gear...i dont see 1 person in top 10 that trapped under 90mph and got a 14......but i guess trap speeds mean nothing. and one last thing i need clarification on.
say i drove a cobalt SS s/c and i ran 14.9 at 96mph ur saying thats not a mid-low 14 trap speed?even tho people trapping at 96mph are running mid to low 14s....so ur saying i'll keep running 14.9 forever?
so my point is if i had gotten more traction and a better launch i would have ran a high 14 at 90-91 mph.

You sure are dumb. You don't know sh** about engine configuration.
You can run 16s at 90+ mph and know how to drive.
No low end and alot of top end can give you high mph and slow time.

Once again you have your head up you "** so deap that you don't understand. You can't base yourself on MPH because it vary too much.
For example, cause your little head can't understand, a stock 1990 Gtz run 15.4s at 91-92mph. Does it mean that every Gtz owner don't know how to drive? No. It means the gear ratio are different and the powerband is different.
So next time, get a clue of what you are saying cause we are not all kids that thing they know everything. Some of us DO KNOW compare to you.

my old drag car witht he first combinatin to get it working ran 14.00@92mphwith a 1.89 60' too much gear not enought motor
then it went 12.0@114 with a 1.6 60' basically right on
Then i re did it again and went
11.3@118 not enought top end gearing i needed 4.10s not the 4.33 that were in it mph was way to low for that speed but i did 1.48 60' times
My cavalier went consistant 15.1's @ 91.2x-91.3x....with 60' slightly higher AND lower than yours.
So...yeah....

alright i'll admit i was being bit ignorant. i'm trying as hard as a i can to get on the 14s all motor list with the limited amount of money i have ATM. i was just doing camparing the other for top 10 and i understand that track prep, ambient air temp (etc...) all help determine my et. what i really ment when i said "the trap speed was a 14second pass but the launch wasn't"....my 60ft was a 2.2 if i was to bring it down to low 2.1 or 2.0 i could hit a 14. i just have these POS all season mastercraft tires (195/65/15) and i only pulled a 2.1 60ft one time, rest have been 2.2 or above. bettertires to get hopefully a better 60ft time would result in possibly 14s correct?

It would be really close....probably low 15.0's or a 14.9 with a 2.1x 60'.
2.1's are difficult to pull on all seasons. 2.2's are about the normal.
