I'm looking for a helmet for autocrossing has to be Snell M2005 rated SA is better but is only required on road corse race tracks and tihngs like that.

That's what I got. I would rethink your choice about closed face. I personally feel kinda restricted in the clsoed face helmets. Plus they are a lot cheaper. That site also has good prices on closed face helmets.

everyone I've used so far has been closed face and I never really had a complaint about it

I agree that an open face is 1000x better when you already have a windshield in front of you. As long as they meet requirements for the type of racing you do, I'd go in that direction.

I wanted a closed face so that if I were to somehow hit something I don't get a face full of air bag.

i've always just used HJC helmets, i have an older one now but will be getting a new one for next season, i found a couple sa2000 and sa 2005 ones on ebay for $79 and !59 respectfully
i've never had a problem with them and they fit fine
they are closed face and i norm keep the shield down for autox since i tend to move a lot in the car leaning into the turns and what not
but at the strip i just leave it open since i dont really have to watch that much (other than the tree)

I got one from Bell for 149 shipped (M2005)

It was on clearance though and is just a wee too snug, next size up was too loose....
