97 cavalier 5 speed 2.4l need tire size for half mile banked dirt. i ran 185/60/r14 hitting rev limiter just before corner thinkin about going to a 205/55/r15? any info or comments would be helpfull thanks
i'd move up to a 15 inch rim at least now i don't really know much about these cars on dirt but on our asphalt track i run a 15 inch 60 series tire
Go to the Tire Race .com and research your current size . Personally I'd try a 195/60 14 or a 205/60 14. The BFG's (215/60 14)from The Tire Rack sells for about $68 each. I have to run 70's in my 4cyl. class. I run the Kuhmo Power Star 175/70 14(pizza cutters) $34each. They have won me many races.
