i've been wanting to take my car to do the 1/4 mi for a while now. the whole thing is stock, but im just curious to see where it stands. however, when i search online for tracks in illinois it's not coming up with any tracks that you can actually drive at, only ones that you can watch races at. i dont know if i'm just searching for the wrong thing or whats going on. im pretty confused lol which leads me to my question: does anyone know of any tracks in illinois, preferably near chicago where i could take my car? thanks =)

There is also a dragstrip in Byron Illinois if you don't mind the drive...Or you can go to Great Lakes Dragaway which is about an hour or so into Wisconsin

there is a track somewhere along the Illnios Iowa border called Cordova. and an 1/8th mile called Havana. but that track sucks
