its not really the same queastion. he is asking about a DIRT track set-up. that thread you posted is about a asphault set-up. there would be 2 tottally different set-ups
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
sorry i gave that person the setup for dirt. their is only suspension diffrences between the two. but yeah the info i post in the other thread is for a dirt track.
Hey we are thinking about building a ministock but one of the rules is it has to be carbed anyone encountered this before?
First you need to toe it 1/8" out not in. Second drill out your bottom 2 strut bolts that connects to you spindel. Don't go to big on the drill bit ,just slightly bigger. Next use grade 8 replacement bolts one size smaller than stock. Don't use impact gun to tighten, they won't hold. Use a 1/2" breaker bar . Make sure you use oversize washers to hide the bigger holes,so classes don't allow mods to suspensions. Next take a spare wheel and grind the welds out, flip it inside out ,weld it back ,weld the valve stem hole, drill your new valve hole. Put wheel on right front and hold on .....
i have the right front strut hole drilled out but you lost me on cutting the wheel out. are you saying make a offsett?
yes ,that is how I make my offsets. Also use a paint pen and draw an arrow right below your treadline on your sidewall. This is how I have found my best tire pressure. If you can find a tire pyrometer, check the inner, middle, and outer tire temps. This will tell you if you have enough camber.
