Well on my forum based out of Mankato we have a nice list of where we are at as far as racing goes. We have a big list of who has beaten who. Well the next few on the list I was close to before I did my engine build/heavy mod upgrade. So we ran em today with this cobalt I lost to by about 2 cars. He usually hooks right out of the hole and stays in front. This time I slipped the clutch out and stayed with him out of the hole, not only that but I pulled on him the hole way. I beat him by 4 cars he said. Thought I would post this up since my little 2.2L LN2 motor just beat a 2.2L ecotech pretty good! I still need a tune and my nitrous though.

so.........when you race your "heavy mod" 2.2 , vs that cobalt do you actually break the speed limit?

yeah, seriously, The only way you could race this time of year is if its indoor and I haven't won the lottery yet
so that isn't happening.
Theres more than just speed at stake in designing a car, the j frame as a whole is not very safe in alot of crash tests, in order to improve that a stronger heavier frame was used in the delta and even that still isnt as good as alot of the competition, hopefully the delta 2 will be state of the art

Yeah pretty sure there aren't any open in MN. It's called road trips
Went down south for a bit with some guys on a road cruise.

As far as any Cobalt goes, the only two that are decent are of course the SS/SC but also the 2.4 SS.I raced the SS 2.4 at the track and would have been beaten had I not had the nitrous.

What exactly do you have done to your car? And if you went to the track what times did you run? I'm just curious because this still seems a lil fishy to me
i think it was a street race. other wise he would of posted his time and the cobalts time. what track he raced at etc etc
