What does a the average S/C eco run in the 1/4. im wanting to do the eco swap and supercharge it and i want to know what im looking at. i searched and all i could find was the honor roll. im not going crazy insane when i do it because i want to keep it a DD
It's capable of low 14's on a good day with a good driver. I ran a 15 something. lol
out of 6 passes last season with the blower on the car my best was a 14.0@104 with a 2.4 60 foot on a summer tire. I had header and full exhaust, a 3.0 pulley and mounts. Some people are in the mid to high 13's on the gm tune.
i would be extreemly happy with a low 14 high 13. have you run yours on a radial?

im worrying about the times because i still go to the track even though it is a DD. and im worrying about radials because ill be making enough money in the air force to have a set of radials for the track. and even if i wanted run them on the street i could because radials are streetable.
In all honesty you should be able to run well into the high 13's with the blower on a good set of tires.
It would seem that mid/lowish 14's are the average tho.

High 14's all stock except for charger. I ran 14.5's then I went to the 3.0 pulley and several other things and dropped it down to a 14.0(stock header and 2.25 exhaust). Then put a decent exhaust on it (header back to 2.5 exhaust) and dropped to 13.8. Added comp cams and dropped to 13.3-13.4.
14s like everyone is saying. biggest thing is a decent set of tires and keeping the motor cool. the m62 is such a heat monster that u gotta keep it cool and u will just drop times quick.
once i get out of basic ill get some awesome tires and ill carry a couple of bags of ice to the track with me
I went a 13.8 with a loaded lss pacesettr coated header an 2 1/2 inch exaust everything else was stock .i took almost a half second off just by learnin how to launch

i agree it is alot better benefits out weigh overall paycheck so it evens out but its still not the greatest and sorry to threadjack
