might have a problem, im using the msd 2-step and have it set to 2000rpm but it doesent help still lite up both wheels, just wonderd what others are setting thier 2-step to?
No one really uses them on J's as far as I know.

wrong.... plenty use them...
each car is different how its going to react. when i get mine in and done, im going to set it to about 4500 to build boost and then go. each car is different. I know on eco's you also have to have the hardened oil pump gear as well.
Sounds like you need better tires...

I was going off what was posted in the past. I recall a thread recently where a few guys said they were useless. Maybe they had stock motors. IDK. Thanks for the correction Vince
I have mine set to 4,000 I use drag radials spin first if you let clutch out to fast.
what size of tire are you runnin?

i'snt the whole point of launch control, is not spin your tires
2-step is to make staging easier, and setting it at the proper rpm to not spin or bog, i posted where my car is to achive grip out of the hole since i have slicks, which is something you might want to look into.....on street tires and fwd your not going to be able to dump the clutch you'll have to slip it to keep grip.

disappointed!!!!!!!!!! i made it to the track on fri finally, my first run wasn't pretty, but after 4 hours and 6 runs, and thats finishing the run and immediately getting back in the lanes,
14.3 was the best, im still pissed, but stillgot a consistant 2.2 60ft, first was the waiting in the lanes 40 min each time, 2nd was the 2-step wouldn't go below 2k no matter how u adjusted it, 3rd my shifter felt sponge causing me to miss 3rd a couple of times, oh and 4th my damn purge sol vacuum outlet to the canister broke off and i didn't know it,
argggggggg, has anyone else had thier2-step below 2k?
shifter was spongey cause thier was wiring in the way at the tranny, i shouldve been doin 13.5
did you learn how to launch the car without the 2-step? maybe try that....

cant ease into it, stupid spec clutch, either in or out
Stage 3 clutch what do you expect. 2k launch seems too low. I use to launch at 4k-4500 when I was N/a on drag radials.
