Hi,
I am new on Cavaliers but just bought a 98 for fwd stock 4 cylinder class. We can run 13 inch wheels which is what I would love to do for gearing but I have to tun a 4 in. backspace to be legal. I read on a search that a 2 in. backspace would work but what about a 3.5 to 4in?
Thanks,
Mark McCrary
check in wheel and tire forum
13" rims will not clear the calipers on the front, but they will clear the drums on the back. Are you using a custom set of rims?
13x6 -3 (doublecenter too)
13x7-4
13x7-2
all are diamond racing wheels
see if i can get some pics of the different setups
13x7 -2
13x7 -4
13x6 -3

13's can be run. just not stock 13's
That's what I asked - "Are you using a custom set of rims?"
I don't know why that black one actually catches my eye. Got more pics?
i dont have many pics of the black on like that, got some after we decaled it all up
Thanks,
I went with 14X7 just because I do not think there is be any tires available soon for the 13's in the class I run. I have to have a street tire with a 380 treadwear.
Anyone know where I can get long wheel studs tho?
Thanks for all the info!
Mark
