Finally got to take the Sunflower down the strip for the first time since being built. Was able to make 2 passes. Had horrible reaction times but considering I haven't had it on the strip in 2 years, I did pretty well.
First pass was 13.7 @108 mph...
And my quickest to date, 13.606 @ 107.89 mph!!!
Only had one small hiccup, one of my bottom injector o-rings started leaking so now I have a small vacuum leak.
And once I get some more practice in and my LSD installed, I'm confident that I will hit 12's by the end of the year.

congrats man you should easily be able to pull a 12 out of it im gettin 12.6 with a lil less power then you so i can def see this thing pullin a 12 as it is just get some practice in man

Yup. the test and tune on sunday. Its unadvertised, but they are having another one this friday that im going to go to.

THAT'S IT!!! I've HAD IT with everyone hating on my intercooler setup!!! I'm gonna quit the JBO, nuke my account, and go somewhere else!!! Or maybe I'm gonna move it up sometime, but just haven't got around to it yet. Who knows ?
lol yeah but if you move it up it wouldnt get as much air flow thus not functioning as good function over form my friend do what YOU want with the car its yours if i listened to everyone else i wouldnt have a sunfire anymore its just fuel for the fire

I think I found my problem. Thought I had an injector o-ring leaking, but apparently it was something a bit more substantial, and has been leaking for some time.
Pulled the manifold off and saw this.....
Now I guess that explains why I was breaking up slightly at higher RPM's (Rich misfire). Good news is it can only get better from here.

New gaskets are on, plugs are re-gapped to .035, and the car runs amazing! I usually run about 16.2-16.8 psi boost, and last night it shot up to 18.8! Ooops!
so now I'm just needing a retune and I'm confident ill get my 400 WHP and low 12 second/high 11 second goals.

like i said before man you should easily be able to get a low 12 out of your current setup just practice and get some good rubber so you can pull some good 60 foots

i have no lsd, ran with 23 by 8 by 15 slicks and was pulling 1.9 60 foots and a 12.8 at 111
running rich? turn the boost up
