So I went to the track last sat and these are the results, my mods are up to date in my profile.
My car is having tuning issues and will cut out at higher speeds, the first run it cut out at 100ish and the third it cut out at 97-98... I dunno what the deal is but its most likely a tuning issue with trifecta...
I launched a little harder every pass but didn't wanna break an axle so I eased off the throttle pretty slow. If I can get a 1.8-1.9 60 foot then I'm sure I could run a low 13 but didn't wanna break.

1.9 60' on street tires? NICE!
Good runs man!
Stock Pulley?
Naw this was on et drag 24.5/8-15...
2.8 pulley, my mods are current.
How did you manage a 1.7 60? Stock axles, dump the clutch?

good deal man. this makes me this that high 13's are possible outta my 3 inch pulley with radials.
Its all in the launch, my times are proof! You should be able to bust off a 13.9-13.8 with some tires and decent 60 foot.

Did you weight the car while you were at the track? Just curious the total weight. Also congrats, those are great times, that is one quick cavy.
Thanks man, no never weighed it... Its a fully loaded ls sport though. So probably 2900 or so.

Never underestimate the power of pure and simple "seat time". The more practice you have at launching and the more different things you try to figure out what launch works best for your car, the better. Try different tire pressures, launch RPM, speed of clutch engagement, etc. Keep a notebook and record what you did for each run and what the results were. Time at the track is almost equally as important as horsepower when it comes to getting good ET's.
To the OP, pretty sweet times given the mods! Keep it up!

oh i can drive the car...i just have not run it since the pulley swap...so im just thinking about it...
I am going to get my car dynoed later this week and am wondering if it will be ok to dyno it in 3rd gear? The reason being is my car cuts out in 4th gear...

Get the damn tune fixed. As long as you dont wheel hop you wont break an axle. Look at PJ with like 500 hp on stock axles with slicks.

Since when has PJ had 500hp?
Agree get the tune fixed. Do that before dynoing, or while on the dyno.

it is better to bust a $90 axle then a destroy a transmission any day
Got the car dynoed today. Made 220whp and 234 tq with a/f ratio of 11.2

Hmm...seems awfully low for your mods.
Think its time to get a good tune!
Ya, its falling of at higher rpm... Retune/meth coming soon.
The tq is pretty good though..
