Anyone use spacers or anything similar to stiffen their rear springs while drag racing?

Also thinking about maybe some droop straps on the front to limit its lift during launches. Anyone using anything like this out there?

I normally set my AGX's in the rear to full hard, and the front to full soft. This was the best for traction. If I didn't have any raise in the front it would just spin.

AGXs have been added to my want list.
some people block the rears up and full soft fronts or chain them down...
i personally have never done that.... I just launch and go.
newt ran a stiffer spring on his sunfire no clue on the spring rates tho

Yes I swapped out my rear springs for stiffer ones, I have the Ground Control coil over kit, and Ground Control will sell you any combination of spring rates imaginable.
I replaced the standard kit's 250lb-in springs with 600lb-in springs, a bit @!#$ty to daily drive (roads in my city are horrible) but I've put around 10,000km's on this set up with no issues and you get used to it after a while.
I run my Koni's full stiff in the rear and full stiff in the front, this works the best for me.
When you think of it, the stiffer you set them the harder it is for the strut to extend, which either makes your car ride stiffer, or in this case, helps keep the front end from lifting.
By doing this, and running slicks I can bang off 1.7 60 foots pretty consistently.
Hope that helps.
I never ran slicks, but on my cavalier it pulled better 60 ft times with the front raising, but with more traction keeping it from raising should be better like your experience.
