I race a 04 Pontiac Sunfire with the 2.2 ecotec on dirt tracks across southern indiana. Was wondering if it would be a good idea to remove the front stabilizer bar?
i dont see how that would be a good idea. might try doing a stiffer shorter bushing combo on just one side to possibly help it dive into the turns better but i wouldnt remove it.
I choose the technology built for land speed records... not the technology built to save on emissions and gas mileage.
i did remove it and it helped a ton. i felt the track alot better. when you go into a corner the Rf control arm goes down causing the Lf to go up. so i took it off and had way better control and traction then what i had before. I try to be smooth and not dive into the corners.
