ran my z24 last night. pretty happy how it ran!

I went to Atco Raceway last night to make a few passes. It was the first time running my z24 but not the first time for me racing. Mods are as follows- my custom CAI (an actual CAI & not a WAI lol) Tuned by me with HP Tuners, poly engine and trans mounts. Spare and jack removed and 1/4 tank of gas. Regular old 16" street tires.

1st pass 15.65 @ 87mph 2.49 60' (one wheel peel action)
2nd pass 15.25@89.17mph 2.23 60' (bogged a lil)
3rd pass 15.25@88mph 2.18 60' (bogged a lil more)

I have slips and video that I can post up later tonight. My header, cutout and short throw came in yesterday so I should have them installed today after work :]

Lower those 60ft times and you may hit 14s. I used to trap 90-93 and I was in the 14s with 1.9-2.0 60ft times . But good job

I hear you there. I was doing the math on my 60' times lol. I installed my header last night and will be installing my cutout on saturday perhaps. Then I'll log some pulls and retune as needed. I'm pretty sure the header/cutout will get me into the high 14's. I might order some 225 50 15 Hoosier drag radials before the end of the season as well

Very nice times.

What were you launching at?

60 foot times are impressive on street tires.

Thank you

expecting it to be a one-wheel wonder again, I launched it at 3000 rpm, giving the clutch a quick slip. but it hooked good and bogged lol

I don't have my 15.25@89mph pass on video, but I have the 15.25@ 88.75mph 2.18 60' pass on video (below). launching around 3000-3500rpm, It chirped the tires a lil bit and bogged. I'd like to get one of those inserts for the diff and see how it does after that. I recently installed a header and an electric cutout, so I want to go back on a night with similar weather and see what it gained me.
