"In Oldskool we trust"
I think mine was 2840 with me in it. Used to be 2680. Need to get it back to a scale and weigh it!
mine is 95 sedan, 2.2 ohv, 5 speed
2720 with me in it
My sedan was 2650 when I weighed it with 1/4 tank gas, door panels, carpet, center console, and spare tire pulled.
About 2650 with me in it and a full tank. I weigh about 235. I gotta shed 100 more lbs and I'll be happy.

I'm really not sure where to get rid of more weight. I'll be doing some dimples in the interior sheet metal behind the B pillar and stripping out some more unused wire harness but short of that the only stuff left to lighten is any of the aluminum I've already replaced steel with. I'd rather not pull the interior out if I can help it. Although that's probably 30 lbs or so.
So mine got on the scales again. This time I removed the back seats, and my sub and amp. Came in at exactly 2700. This was my goal for this trip.
I did forget to remove the spare tire, jack, and gallon of meth mix and car duster.
So maybe another 30lbs?
Next time I will remove all that.

Scaled it for the season yesterday.
2639 with me and 4 gals (half tank, street wheels/tires). 62/38 F/R, 52/48 L/R, 50.7% cross.
Since last year, I've gutted the doors, stripped some more wiring, and added about 35lbs more roll bar. The only way I'm going to hit 2300 empty is to dump the interior.
Do our cars have crash bars in the doors? I know the ones in the fbodys are super heavy. We got our local track opening soon and im trying to think of all the ways i can strip weight. Free speed. I got a bumper bar ima strip some steel off of, im removing trunk interiour and jack/spare tire. Back seats. Already running a super light fiberglass hood. Im gonna be removing the whole air conditioning system. Its coming off for blower Anyway. I wanna run all the rest of my interiour and radio. Im gonna pull my interiour panels and cut out any steel that isnt supporting anything and when im at the track im gonna be running two donuts on the rear so i got less contact on the road. I know they say that there only ment for 60 mph but for a cupple passes im sure ill be fine. If anybody has any other suggestions for me to drop weight let me know please. I wish i could drop 40lbs before track day that would help lol thanks guys and by the way 2001 z24 5 speed fully loaded

Bump.
I'm at 2,460 with 1/4 tank and without me. I weigh 120.
Im ripping out the interior of a 2003 Cav. donor car for an Ecotec swap & there is a lot of polystyrene, carpet & sound deadening that can go. Also the 1999 2.2L OHV (probably most others) have a couple of brackets that are not needed plus the front (passenger side) motor mount can go on a serious diet.
I opened up the driver's side door yesterday. I was pretty surprised on how little sound deadening material I actually had. So little that I did not even bother taking it out. But I'm always on the hunt for things to drop.
Bump.
I cut out the crash supports in my door. I have a 99 coupe. I dropped a combined 16/17 pounds from doing both doors. Funny thing is, now since both doors lost 8/9 pounds each, they are noticeably easier to close and open.
