Have a 96 cavalier compact. Had a guy put a new clutch in it for me. Ever since he did that it only starts here and there. Won't start even with a push start. It has new battery, new starter and it's getting juice. When you go to turn it over it doesn't make any sound or anything just silence except for the fuel pump. Fan and everything stays on. Could by chance the guy missed something or hooked something back up wrong when he replaced the clutch? Going to look over some more stuff but thought maybe there was something obvious I might be missing.
have you checked the starter relay and the starter solenoid?
i just had a similar issue with a Taurus and it was the ground side of the starter relay that was bad so it never actually switched the juice to the starter
or since you mentioned the new clutch check the neutral safety switch as that will stop the starter from spinning also
