Im building a new circle track cavalier. The body is a 1997 and the built for racing motor is a 97 block with what i believe idms a cavalier manual trans.

The trans thats in my builder car is an automotic. Im not sure if its ghe oversrive option or not, but how do i find out what trans this car has? Its a 2 door coupe non Z24.

If you're referring to the auto, the shifter will have 1-2-D of it's a 3 speed or 1-2-3-D if it's a 4 speed
