i was thinkin metro hatch but yeah civic is more accurate.
man that was a hard hit!
My car was made with wrenches, Not chopsticks.
i find there description a little hard to beleave.
"The vehicle broke down in the travel lane of a major highway. The female driving was attempting to push the vehicle out of the road when she turned around and saw a ford f-250 in her lane. The driver of the vehicle moved just in time to avoid being hit but her car wasn't as lucky. the F-250 hit her vehicle at approximately 65-70 mph."
we have a 2000 sunfire at work that was stolen and left in neutral (5 speed) with the parking brake on in a live lane on the 401 highway it was rear-ended by a transport truck at about 100 kph and looked no where near as bad as that.
so either she was trying to push the car in park, or there's different story that's closer to the truth. from the looks of it the car was at least half if not totally off the road when it was hit. the damage is offset to the left side, id bet that the car was actually parked on the shoulder at the time of impact.
