Well guys, it happened offically as of today. I cleaned her out, took my "Bolt on" mods with me, and traded her in. I got a 2003 Eclipse GTS, so hopefully I will make new memories, but for sure, never forget the ones I had with the j-body. I thought about keeping her, but the double insurance thing was outragous. I'll stay in touch here and give my $0.02 when I can.

I feel your pain. I just sold my Cavy last night after having it for 6 years.... Ever since she had 7 miles on the clock. I will miss her...

I almost cried when my old cav drove off after I sold it.....it was a sad moment.

YEssir. When I was cleaning her out, i could feel the tears building up. Absolute silence, I had to turn on the radio to get my mind off of it. But now, I absolutly love my GTS! Going from 110 HP to 210HP is quite a difference.

When jnickel got the news from the insurance ppl that his car was totalled, it was really bad. It broke my heart to see him so sad/pissed. But, he has the jnick3l v2...

...probably cause the next car for me is the STI =)
I'm gonna be sad when I see my Cav go in spring, but I am replacing it with an 05 Fire, can't abandon the J-Bodies. But it will be weird to see "my car" drive off for good... and then see it around town (I know who's buying it already locally)

ok, then don't sell it, keep it as a daily driver. I'm thinking of getting myself a 69 Firebird Formula and turning it into a dragster. But if I do that I can't driver that car every day, so I'll have a Cav or STI to take me along the way =)

I DID cry when i sold off Gert (my silver sedan)....then i cried in rage when i found her again, at a car lot, twice what i sold her for (long story)
