Last night someone broke into my car and stole all of my stereo equipment. Cops were Not able to get prints so I'm screwed. Someone also stole the gas cap off of my moms truck last night too. This is the second time my car has been broken into. I think someone has it out for me. I hate people!!!!! They suck A$$!!!
After market stereo? If so do something to hide it, try to look

No I don't have an alarm. I couldn't afford it. But now I don't care I'm spending the money. I'm getting tired of this crap happeneing to me.
2.2l ecotec: What's the point of modding cars if I'm gonna try to look as plain as possible? The system wasn't very exspensive, but now I have to get everything again which is the pits. Especially since music is basically my life. I'de give up just about everything, but God and my music.

Word. The only stereo i can crank is in my car. Cant wait to get my old system in my new car.
Yeah all the stereo stuff I had, I got over a peiod of time, not to mention that where I lived before I didn't have to worry about someone breaking into it. And since I moved to Phoenix I have to pay my bills which having a place to live is a bit more important so who's the idiot. Not me. My system was very exspensive, but that's besides the point. Someone stole my stuff that I worked hard for. So go tell someone else their an idiot that actually deserves it.
I also had a great stereo with no alarm because i couldn't afford the alarm, so i know what that's like. Got the stereo over a few years with some lump money i got from overtime or holidays, but didn't have much left over to get something after that.
Then i got a dent in my door while i was parked at my apartment & a few threats. I needed an alarm, but didn't know what to do. So...
I went to Tweeter, a home/car entertainment store. It turns out that i could use a special deal of 0% APR if i got put it on their credit card. You might want to check into something like that. Even my Viper wasn't hard to afford with a year to pay for it.
I just forked out 200 for a 2way pager alarm, which hopefully will be put in this weekend. Thanks for the suggestion though.
If you didnt have an alarm and had a system more than stock then you could have waited to put it in.... i waited 6 months to put one in my old car cuz i refused to trust people around me.. you live and learn sometimes i guess

So your blaming me for my stuff being stolen. That is such crap. As I said, I had the system in before I moved to where I am now. Hence not having or needing an alarm. And also as I stated I have bills to pay and I don't make alot of money so it wasn't on top of the priority list. This isn't the response I expexted at all. I guess I'll learn to post something bad that happened to my car ever again.

An alarm should be the 1st thing you should invest in... especially since you've already had your car broken into before.

Why is it that everyone is blaming this on me. I didn't go pay someone to take my system OK! And like I have said twice before I have bills to pay so its either get an alarm and live in my car or pay my rent. HMM which one should I go with.

you people think an alarm really matters!!! you are a fool if you think an alarm will help you, you go to walmart or something, are you gonna hear it..........no, and if it was me, id open the car, pop the hood, and clip your battery cable......if someone asks what im doing, say, "somethings wrong with my engine, but i fixed it" the person goes away and i jack your stuff, any alarm except a pager alarm is worthless

i got a Wal-Mart alarm, its a Bullydog i think, its called a false wire, always works, plus having a Back-up batt works wonders as well

a pager alarm is cool, because if someone breaks in and disables the alarm, it still will have sent a signal to the pager before being disabled, and i have a concealed carry permit, so someone is going to die once my pager goes off

i got my alarm in my car, before I even put a CD player in it....I didn't want anything to get jacked
I have an extra alarm, remote start, and keyless entry if u want it, I would be willing to sell it, I also got the remote's relay's and instructions....I had it in an older car but took it out and never put it in my new cavalier. The autostart feature is designed for a car with Fuel Injection. It isn't hard to install either.

for each of us , some thing are expensive , while to others its not expensive
pretty much a alarm will stop a honest thief , a dis honest thief they will get what they want no matter what
there is no reason to beat someone up for not having a alarm on their car
any one can get alarm dude i got the lowjack in my car. and i spent about 600 for it.

you know you dont have to have the mnost expensive alarm you can buy... my alarm i got from a stereo shop for 85.00 and its pretty easy to install if you can read directions and have a little basic wiring ability or just some good common sense...i know how you feel though i had my car broken into and a 400.00 sony deck stolen, they didnt get my sub.. dont know why.. maybe its cuz they knocked it outta gear and it rolled across the parking lot and hit a pole but anyways a week later i had an alarm installed and then bought a new radio...and no im not saying its your fault hell its nobodys fault.... @!#$ happens....get over it and get an alarm and then replace all you equipment...
my car is fully stock...the first thing i got is an alarm......its just common sence...ecspecially if you plan to mod
