...the back story:
9ish years ago, I had a nice new driver's licence and just as too many of the new drivers on this site love to brag about going fast (and driving like idiots), so did I. In my infinite wisdom I figured that racing at 160+ km/h down a rough gravel road could do no harm.
Well, lets just say that trying to overcome the governor in my Sunfire now just isn't a priority. I was lucky, a few bruises and cuts and a serious insurance rate hike was the only outcome - but looking back I'm pretty surprised that I lived. You can see the power poll in the top picture - another half-roll (there were 3.5 in total) and it would have been much worse.
