Ok i live like a block from my state farm branch. I pullout onto a main street, im crusing about 30, accelerating to the speed limit of 35. An old lady, maybe 70-80ish, pulls out of state farms parking lot, accelerates hard to cross two lanes and head the opposite direction of me. She was looking the other way the whole time. T-boned. Plain and simple. Her car was leaking rad. fluid, and her license plate was implated in my pass. door. The car has basically a dent about a foot inward running from mid fender, to the mid rear quarter. If i ever wanted lambos, well i got one now, cause the pass door is permenatly 6 inches above the roof. Fun stuff, i got some minor contusion on my collar from the belt, and whacked my head.
The Best part is it happened right infront of state farm, they happen to be our agents for me and the other driver.
The other great things are, my car is an 05 cavy with a huge amount of miles on it. Last time i checked (this morning) about 1700. YEah its about 3 months old.
My last j (97 cav. ls convert) got rear ended and side swiped by a dog (long story).
O yeah and it hydro'd into a curb, busting steering up bad, cost 700.
Im waiting to hear if its totaled, or not. The body shop kinda brushed me off and said its only the door, it'll be fine. HMmm.
Ill try to get some pics from the shop when i return.
good luck man the last time i got hit by someone that had the same insurence company and same agent the screwed me over big time... very long story... but non the less good that your ok and again good luck with the car..

None yet, right now the adjuster is making an estimate. THe unibody is damaged, and lots of other stuff. Her estimate thus far is 6800-7000, but thats just surface damage. She thinks once its dissasembled it'll prolly be like another 1000. Were trying to push forit to be declared totaled, because if its not there's going to be quite a bit of DV.
Pics should be here soon i hope. Maybe monday late night or tuesday.
The cost of repairs ended up going too high, so they totaled it. Good thing i had gap ins.
Ill try posting pics, dunno if this will work.
Take off the side moldings and paint the mirrors and handles!
, that looks like it hurt. I got hit in my old 2000 cavalier from behind and I had a Lambo Trunk for 3 weeks
