Okay, I was going to pick up my new tires today, but the delivery hadn't arrived yet, so I went to grab a bite to eat while I waited. I was following a black GMC Jimmy, and he started to stop, so I hit my brakes. Well, both him and I were stopped, so the blue Subie behind us naturally stops also. Now, some kid in a silver Jimmy doesn't see the stopped cars. He rear-ends the Subie, who runs into my rear, and I run into the Jimmy in front of me. The only thing I could say was 'S**t!' So I get out to inspect the damage. I definately got the worst of it. I put a dent in the
steel bumber. That's all the damage to his vehicle. The Subie hit my fiberglass bumper with his obviously much harder bumper. Urethane or maybe ABS, but the point is, it got a little bit scratched in front, and that's all. His rear was a little worse, a big crack and a dent from the other Jimmy. The front of the Jimmy was dented in pretty good, and a little scratch or two. Now on to what happened to my car. Pics:
Pretty much, the frame punched out a hole from my bumper (no crush guard), and pretty well destroyed my rear. My hood was bowed a little bit, I'm not sure if I need a new one or not. I'm going to get estimates Friday. I think it looks to be over $1000 worth of damage, depending on how generous my body guy is
man this is like the 3rd trashed sunfire on here this week....sorry to hear bro

jesus.... didn't you post up pics of your front end being repaired this week?..
Yes sir I did. But the front happened months ago, I've been too lazy to fix it. Well, I might be able to get a whole new kit out of the insurance money. Looking into 03+ rear conversion.
sucks for the kid that hit the car causing all of this. he will have to pay for everyone. yea it sucks but it will work out in your favor. now you can get new mods
wont the guy in the blazer have to pay for the scooby, the scooby for the fire and the fire for the jimmy ? at least thats how it works around here!
Nope. The guy in the silver jimmy was found completely at fault. I went and got estimates yesterday, and both of the places I went quoted it at over $2000. So I'm thinking $700 max to get the rear converted to 03+, then I can have $1400. Probably buy either a hood/system and projectors, then put the rest away in my savings account.
