Well that all folks,
I have been a J-Body owner since 2000 until yesterday.
I guess I was probably getting a little bored with the platform, still like J-bodys but just bored.....
I decided on a whim to go to a crystler dealer and see what they had on the lot. They ended up giving me $8000.00 for my car on a trade. (keep in mind that all cars in Canada are overpriced!) So I caved and picked up a newer car.... but not a J.
This situation has left me with a few problems, I have a crazy amount of parts that I have laying around.... like thousands of dollars. This isnt a for sale post though so if you want to see any of my crap its here:

And my new car:
2005 SRT-4 ACR
Hopefully this is an upgrade.....
I had a good time with the Sunfire and my old cavy but its time to go.....
Im sure I'll lurk in the forum every once and a while, good luck with all your rides.
Anyone else thinking of moving on? If the right price came along would you trade in your beloved J???

Thx! I almost but an SRT-4 at the end of 04 but the dealer still wanted $4k OVER sticker. F That. They're quick cars no doubt and would take them over a SC'ed Delta car any day.

love the srt man...definately my next pick if i sell my J...especially the ACR..very nice car..perfect color....good luck with it.
I just moved on over the weekend. I picked up a new Cobalt SS Turbo. I am much happier with it. Cavalier will be going to auction next wednesday.

Just don't act like all the skittle owners around here and think that a bov and some ecu tuning and you've got a 10 sec car. Yeah they may be faster than MOST J's, but around here, the 4 cyl crown belongs to 2 J's and a Honda, and they made the frickin srt's right down the road from my house, there's TONS of them around. I've never been super impressed with them, but congrats, w/ a decent driver and some turbo toys that thing will be nice.

not saying i'm inpressed but suprised. buddy of mine had one that put down 340 hps and 360 torque. with some mods not stock.
btw skunk not picking on you again.
SRT's are very easy to get over 300hp. The 20G kit from HAHN puts the SRT at 420hp.
Not saying I will go that extreme but lots of potential. Plus Ive owned a J since 2001, I needed a change.................

awesome choice guy... definitely not a huge chrysler fan... but ive always like the srt's... but im definitely with the other guys... the bbs's that came on them were dead sexy!
