Sup J-body dood. Summer is here and its time to bust out mah whip. 92 Taurus SHO w/ a few bolt-ons. This vid was from last year on horrbile tires. The car is very tricky to launch. It'll be ~ 60 lbs lighter and have about 25 more WHP. With decent tires I hope to have it consistantly in the mid 13's.

i really dont mind SHOs at all, pretty fast little buggers
that remindes me....along with loosing the versus fourm we lost that SHO obsessed guy that felt a need to make a comment on every street racing post....two birds with one stone

video didnt work. manual? or auto? and what's done to it? i normally dont like SHO's, but i can appriciate them when they're well done... and especially when they woop on me (havent had it happen... yet)
and you think it's hard to launch now... just wait till you put more power to the wheels. FWD's become a real pain in the a$$

I loved my SHOs (both '92s...the best year), but the lack of traction, major tranny problems (stupid 3rd gear...or in my case 3rd and 4th), and the fact that I hate working on FWD V6s may keep me from buying another one if I sell my Audi.
