I didn't forget about my poor lil teg, lol. Getting ready to drop a new motor in her.

JUN dual valve springs
JUN titanium retainers
Ferrea 1mm oversized valves,
'98 Type R cams,
AEM adjustable Cam gears,
Head has been Port & Polished with ceramic coated valve face and combustion chamber,
New OEM valve and cam seals,
Type R valve cover.

Block:
B18C1 with Eagle rods,
JE pistons,
Type R oil pump,
New Honda bearings and seals,
Steel Head bolt inserts and head studs, .
020 stainless wire o-rings,
.043 copper head gasket.

Intake system:
JG Edelbrock intake manifold, DPR 64mm over bored throttle body.

This motor made 500whp on this setup at 20psi and ran a 10.9 at 133mph in the 1/4 mile on 16 psi.

are you sure it is a b18c1 ? looks like a c5......... unless the valve cover is just painted... or it is a c5 head..... I am pretty sure edelbrock only makes the intake manifold for the c5's and B series.

its a gsr(b18c1) head and block with the b18c(jdm) or b18c5(usdm) valve cover......just to clear up any confusion.

that is going to be one fun car....good luck staying out of trouble lol

ITR Valve cover would be b18c5 valve cover. That's exactly what it is too.

I'm pretty sure that honda stamps their motors. The big ass B18C1 led me to believe it really was a B18C1. Not to mention why would someone have a Type R motor and try to sell it off as a GSR? That would just be stupid.

The head for a GSR and type R are the same as far as bolting things up. Hence why the fact this is a GSR head with Type R Cams. Yes it is a Type R valve cover. Which also fits on any B-Series Vtec motor. Very common.

No I have the turbo also.

We can not see the stamp from the pictures. I have never been a huge fan of the Red Valve covers as well to be honest. Black FTW.

I didn't say it was, I said could it be should it be yadda yadda. Once you said it was Just another Type R Valve cover on it... it made things simple.

It might not even be a Type R cover. There where lots of company's selling coated covers for a while.

Very true, but its easy to spot a knock off believe it or not. Even if its not...it really doesn't matter to me lol. Its just a valve cover. The big ass turbo mounted in front of it hogs the attention anyways.
