Today, was one of my top 10 days ever. Took my 2009 Kawasaki Ninja 650R home. I had a much smaller bike last year,
and riding the ninja was just incredible. I had been waiting since the fall for the 09's to roll out, and it was worth the wait.

Man those are going for cheap back home, but I can't settle for a parallel twin bike. '09 definitely looks nice though as stated above!
im more of a supersport guy myself. but those have come a long way! I like what Kawi is doing with their "not so sporty" bikes like this and the ninja 250. Giving them style and great looks for the street!!!

here's my 07'' the day i brought her home, nearly 2 years ago.
Since then, I have cut down the windscreen & have installed SM bars.
Anyways.. nice bike man! ..Not gonna lie though, I AM partial to the first gens. i love my "cyclops" bike.

I like the first gens too, but they were all gone by the time I was ready to move up to a 650, so I ended up with one of the first 09s.
Red isn't even an option here for 09, green and blue are it for colour choice.
How do you like the SM handlebars?

Nice bike. But I'm partial to Kawi's. I'm anxious to get my cruiser out again this year. Bought it new last year and didn't get too much time to ride. This year I'm making time.

If you're looking for a sportier feel, SM's are the way to go. Bought mine a year ago from Suburban-Machinery for $160 shipped, and could'nt be happier. I HIGHLY reccomend them.
You had to wait until NOW to get your '09? I picked up my '09 R6 in December.
The bike is hideous with those handlebars/windscreen. Other than that its hawt..

Nice ride. I'm also partial to Kawi's, I have a '73 H1. Here it is in its 36 year old glory.
Also note that these pics are forn last summer... Right now there's about 3 feet of snow where those pics were taken.

Yep, new design for 09, they didn't ship from Japan until Feb this year.
Please post videos of said jumps please. Preferably with full riding gear and some sort of fire involved. Also please remove the tassels from the handlebars. No one needs to see that.
