Theres actualy an article with a domestic, and its a cobalt ss sc! Very clean car with hardly any exterior mods, and I was just surprised to not see a crazy painted $60k import or like a honda full of super rare jdm crap. This was pretty much performance, with a Harrop TVS sc and full top end dynoed like 352whp or something.
Anyways, check it out! Not something you see everday and they of course make a cavalier reference, lol!
What's the cavy ref say?

probably like "The Cobalt replacing the cavalier in 2006" /end cav reference
Something about being beaten by a glorified cavalier or something. I don't recall.. Nice article though, the car's coming along nice.
there is also a rb26 swapped 300 zx
his name is andy and i get to see the car run quite often
its FAST.
pics?
Familiar Taste of Poison.
. yup. definitely belongs in a magazine.
is it just me or did anyone else notice it lacking a front strut tower brace? i would think that would be a first mod done....
Familiar Taste of Poison.
Yep, thats the one. I was mainly soo surprised at just how simple and performance oriented it was. No carbon fiber, no expensive titanium cannon exhaust, etc etc. Its just def out of the norm and I love it
It's clean and effective.
Minus a front STB of course.
it's lacking the stb due to the fact it doesn't do anything worth while on the delta chassis.
anyways
thanks for the kind words
thats car is from kc, mo saw it at the first ifo
R.I.P. Brian Klocke, you will never be forgotten
i love that car! i have the mag on my end table! read the whole article!
words from the article: "A friend of mine picked up a simple Stage 2 Cobalt SS and pulled up next to me at a light. I took the bait and proceeded to get walked on by a fancy Cavalier."
there u have it! Cobalt SS = Fancy Cavalier!

Is that the stock paint color or has it been repainted?
FORGET GIRLS GONE WILD WE HAVE GOVERNMENT SPENDING GONE WILD!
Stock color.
Wish I would have held out for one, dealership had an '07 that color 3 hours away, wouldn't budge on price though.

eh.. yea... quoted for truth. there is a 09 ss/tc locally to me and it has nothing but an area 47 tune. otherwise bone stock.. it put down 307whp and ran a 13.7 on the stock tires.

is this you're car? not being a smart ass... legitimate question. and would you care to explain why they are not effective?

Z-yaa. yes it is my car. sitting at 84k miles on the odometer.
the strut towers on the delta chassis are part of the firewall. needless to say, if the fire wall flexes. you have much bigger problems to worry about than a stb holding everything in place.
God sport red tint coat is sexy, that car is perfect lookng! So clean and simple, but yet gets the job done under the hood!
BALLIN!
