Buick Century Question

I have a 2000 Century with the 3100 motor,will a 3800 seriesII from a Regal bolt right in?

Ask on a W body forum?? I would imagine that you would need a different trans, harness, and mounts.

I believe you can get the parts to bolt it all in, but you're going to have to get a donor vehicle and get everything out of it.

Personally, I'd say just build a 3400 and drop it in. Spend all your time and money on good mods instead of the swap.

Or just buy the friggin regal... Same dang car. Then swap out the regal logo for a century sticker, so you can have that sleeper you are gunning for

Yeah my co-worker had swapped the 3400 in his 99 century but I looked on a W forum as suggested and I believe as far as the 3800 Series II the only difference is the mounting brackets,I think the '00 Regal has the same auto trans as the century.

If I knew someone willing to trade I would do it,buying is not an option right now.The Regal is virtually the same but got the bigger motor and better trim.

I had a mildly modded 98 cav Z24 vert and was on this site for two years and must admit that this car won't be as much and as easy to mod as the cav but it is WAY more comfortable and has a TON of room.
