Gang,
Work has me driving about 90 miles a day, so the truck is not working out any more. So time for a beater car.
I'm stuck at getting a new Malibu(or try to find one with like 10K on it)
Or Pre-owned CTS with about 30K on it. Assume both cars will need to have leather and a sunroof and all those fun things.
Thoughts?
Also I'm only buying american, I would rather spend money to help people keep there jobs, not lose them.
both are very nice cars, but i'm a big fan of the CTS. very refined feeling and very comfortable. i've never sat or driven one of the new malibu's so i can't give my opinion on that.
Check out my build thread!
Go drive them both and just see what you like better.

FORGET GIRLS GONE WILD WE HAVE GOVERNMENT SPENDING GONE WILD!
CTS is RWD so if you get snow where you're located that's a big consideration. The malibu will likely get better MPG. The new malibu is more of a "solid" car than the previous generations, but it's not quite on the same level as the CTS in my opinion. I've been in both cars but only driven the CTS
i have an 05 CTS and love it! never been in a new malibu so i cant say anything about them other than ive heard their great cars... my vote is CTS but im biased...

as much as i like the malibu , with the amount of travel you are doing , youll be alot better off with the cts
id consider the malibu a around town , with occasional road trip car , and the cts the opposite
Thanks,
Drove a Malibu with the 6 speed flappy paddle gear box,
It was not to bad, all the transmission did was change gears..
But, grate millage and with over $4500 in discounts right now I might go new.
i wish i could buy either of those for a beater ride...
Rememeber kids... spell check is your friend
CTS hands down.
