But At least I didnt cheap out....
I get to pick her up Saturday, 2005 with 48k mi, 2 owner, honda Cert. $16k
Ill post pics when I get her home.
As for the Cav... Whoever buys it will decide what happens! Any buyers?
Congratulations on a fine purchase indeed.
This should be a nice upgrade from the Cavy with fwd to a sweet rwd vehicle with 50/ 50 weight ratio.
Enjoy it man and hope that you don't go away to other forums and forgetting about us.
In similar news, I'll be picking up my Porsche 944 on Friday but that's only going to be used for daily driving while I continue with my long term project in the Z24.
Good luck to you and the new Honda man. It's a win situation for you.

Thank you Dave and JBO!
Nice purchase. Price doesn't seem too bad. In their price range, S2000's aren't on the top of my list, but if it is on yours, go you! Car looks clean, low mileage, and should be a blast to drive.
And misnblu: "I bought a Porsche to DD while I work on my project Cavalier" Quite backwards man lol.
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

I wanted a Sky, Or a 350z Sport coupe, OR a g35.... None of which were permitting in my buget.... So S2K here I am.
Yeah, I wanted a 350Z or IS300, and even was looking at the S2000 too.
But those would've been my next project cars once the 'blu was complete so that doesn't mean it's not going to happen either.
On the 944 for daily driving, it's going to be the weekend car because I've got a Toyota for actual daily driving to work whereas the Porsche is going to be the weekend cruiser until I get the 'blu on it's feet again.
It's been well over a year since the Cavy has been on the ground and believe me JLAudio, the Cavy will outperform the Porsche by leaps and bounds whether on track or street.
Call it weird but that's just me I guess.
And Chazz, good luck man. In a way, I'm a little envious since I'm quite fond of the S2000's.

Great choice.
Looked at a few of them myself, pricing around here is outrageous on them though.
Was gonna say . WAIT Thats not a 350 or skye lol Nice buy, have fun with it
Very nice purchase indeed.

best of luck with that. very clean platform! that is a decent price and very good mileage.
friend of mine had one before he traded it for an evo8... i must say those things handle amazing!!!
Plans are pretty basic, Plenty of suspention, 17-18"s of some sort, Eventual boost. Its going to be a DD and a weekend slider.
meh, can't say i'm a fan at all. but i do like how simple it is, i like the clean simple look the car has. so that's what is has going for me as far as pics go.
So are you in the military yet?
i love it! congrats! i will own one someday!

Not too far off from me, im at Scott AFB
you planning on heading for heartland park with it?
I passed by Scott AFB on th way In, Stayed the night in StLouis.
As for Heartland, Its only about 2hrs away so I might... not till after some suspension work. I am without a doubt going to the S2K Dragons Tail meet in April.
you do know the S2000 handles pretty good already right? Ask anyone who has raced on a track...they'll tell you to go bone stock first. This way you'll have a clue what you need. Your car's a very capable track package...save the money, and enjoy it as it is. Odds are you won't have the driving skill to utilize that fancy new suspension anyways.
badass car man. love s2k's.

All stock...........lol.
LOVE them. only thing i dont really like about them is, arent they all push button start? put the key in turn it forward, push the button... is that correct?
^yeah all push button...turn the key, push the clutch, then push the button. would have been nice to see that done a different way, kinda defeats the purpose of push start but it is still cool.
