Anyone else notice how on the new Dodge pick-ups and mini-vans that with the DRL's when the turn signal is on the head light turns off?
Is this supposed to be a safety feature?

That is correct. I thought it was a screw up at first but it's so you dont get distracted by the DRL and focus on the turn signal itself. Safety is the reason.

And I'm guessing the fact that it removes one more head light to blur your vision when they are turning a corner doesnt hurt
