I've been digging them for a while, but just the ones with the ugly grey plastic body pieces. Anybody ever drive one? Own one?

I like them myself, but my wife hates the way they look so we got a Pilot instead. I have two younger kids and the interior of it would be cake to clean up. I haven't had a chance to drive one yet so I am not sure how they ride.
We had one at work, very cool cars, super convenient and very adaptable. They ride nice, not fast but fast enough. It's AWD (not sure if they have FWD or not). I considered one before buying my Fit but it was a little big for my liking. You really have to sit in one and plat with all the @!#$ to really be able to appreciate all it has to offer.
Like the rubber floor and the fold up rear seats.... And the headroom!

I <3 Elements. the new SCs are gorgeous. Especially in the new pearl white/blue color. I want one. Badly. stylish, versatile, & good looking.

^^^^^I'd take one in charcoal please.
You just called a toaster stylish. I don't care how many cool body lines it has, a box is a box to me.... But those Element's are really cool. Like Ryan said, very functional.
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

I like the rear suicide doors.
They are quite fun to drift. But like stated, very slow. They are powered by the K24 that comes in the CR-V. IMO, VERY underpowered. But still not a bad ride. There rather smooth for what they are and have a TON of cargo space.
Around here, we had problems with the rear discs wearing out pre-maturely, so watch for that. Otherwise, a good vehicle.

I considered trading in my Accord EX for one before I inherited dad's '06 Trailblazer after he passed away this summer. I would ONLY drive the SC, though--the base model is downright hideous.
It's one thing to appreciate cars that don't follow automotive fashion trends. but this car's a choice to rebel against the attractive?
I'll admit the contrast between the ugly car and the bells and whistles of Tunerland make for an interesting image.
I'd be all over it if it were a full frame mini jeep type thing.
I drove a 2004 all over hell & back.
My work gave it to me as my work vehicle. I used to do alarm, gps installs onsite etc..
Anyway, it was a cool little vehicle,..
The one thing I noticed was the turning radius. I swear I could run circles in the aisle of a parking lot. It turned like sideways, haha !!
Ugly, but useful.

I like the new ones, but not enough to justify buying one. I couldnt live with it everyday.
