Beautiful!!!

Love everything but I'd rather have the GTI front end instead of the golf. Kinda reminds me of the mk2 that's on Eurotuner's cover right now.

I've always hated the look of em for some reason... but I bet it'd be fun as hell to drive.
Slow as hell, i owned a '92 GTi VR6. I was most displeased with it. Of course that was IN 1992, long before the tuner scene hit. I'm sure they have planty of og fast parts now that fix that problem, but it was a dog from the factory brand new.

Did you click the link sir? I realize a stock one is slow as hell. Well most any stock 4 cyl front drive in 92 was.
I do agree with the gti front end comment. Ied be torn and probably keep both and swap it up once and a while.

A very good point. Looks amazing on this car however. Older VWs are the exception to the rule in this case. I would personally love some wide Azenis instead.

To each is own. The minor stretch of the tire, does not take ANYTHING away from the rest of this car. It is just pure awesome.

I don't care about the link. I said exactly what you did...They are dogs unless you trick it out like this one is. But the fun stuff this one has wasn't even available when i owned mine. And mine was a VR6 so it should not have been as slow as it was. But mine was black and i bought it just for how bad ass it looked and it cornered like nothing i've ever owned since.

Those tires are barely even stretched.

they are stretched pretty good , needs a 235 or 245 wide tire
kinda cool for a little toy , and stealthy looks , would be fun on a track
Only thing id wanna change is gti front end and also lower with smaller lower offset wheels....still cash money tho
That is a hot little hatchback. I dig it.
my freind had one swapped a 1.8t motor in it blew 3 trannys but once they got the tranny all worked out that thing was a beast espically for autoX and everyone loved that car
Love pre-mk3 vdubs.... I still dream of putting a subie motor in the back of an oldschool bug or a squareback, or a VR6T in a Mk2... They were fun little cars until all of the crazy-ass electronics started coming into play.

That's exactly why I want a mk2 or 3.
And I love the subie motor idea.
