Keen eyes, can you see the difference?
GM still sleeping on your laurels, Z28 needs to be out soon, or you can hand over this segment to Ford... Again.

so whats the major difference other than an aluminum engine and getting rid of the old iron one? do they really sell so many shelbys that its worth bringing out something against?

i see lsd 3.73 read axle

supercharged 5.4l V8

Aluminum wheels, upgraded suspension, all new styling...

what does gm offer against that? nothing.... There needs to be something between the SS and Corvette... maybe Z28?

Yes, among other things, the key thing here is the aluminum block, it should shed about 80lbs from the front.

I hate to say it, but I'm rapidly changing from a long time GM lover to a Ford lover. They are doing everything right these days, while GM continues to bring up the rear.

Thats what I've been saying for a while now. Ford is REALLY stepping up their games. Gm is falling further and further behind.

Im just going to guess that it will be around $50k. If that is a correct guess that is still way to much for a Mustang. Just my opinion.

I hate to be a Ford "fanboy" just because I own a Mustang. But me as well as my roommate were both talking the other day after he rented an 09 Focus. Ford really is doing a lot of good things to keep people interested. Their fit and finish is doing well, their features in certain cars and trim level is where they need to be. Even the Mustang(that has for a very long time had many different trims, so don't get so bent about it), is doing the right things on the right trim levels. Every body style has a Shelby touched counterpart. Every body style has a V6 base model(or 4 banger base back in the 80s), each has a GT, a Cobra, and sometimes they throw something else in like back with the old Boss and Mach 1 cars. Even the SN95 Mach 1 they did back in like 01-03?

Get used to Fords numbers rising. They know what they are doing these days to get cars sold.

They still havent made a sport compact worth buying in the US. For everything that people say they have done right the current focus is an eyesore. Thier styling really lacks, I'm not sure whats inspired the front end on most of thier cars. The focus front looks like Robocop's retarded brother.
