Fiero Brakes not working.

It's an '86 Fiero SE, four wheel disc brakes. I need so much help...New lines all around the car as well as a new master cylinder and calipers up front.

I can bleed the rear brakes just fine, but the front ones aren't bleeding. The pedal won't go to the floor. No leaks in my lines. I bench bled the master cylinder.

The front brakes will only work if they're pumped. Any suggestions?

I wonder if the little rod isn't pressing enough into the master cylinder.

Well I am not fiero oriented but, brakes are brakes.Being you did the normal stuff and still soft pedal could be either you need to adjust the brake pedal rod inside at the pedal being from the horizontal position from the firewall to the pedal.Or the proportion valve is the issue.I will assume you did the right rear 1st,then left rear etc on the bleed as it should be done.I do not know the pedal height numbers a chiltons or haynes would have. You may want to check out some of the fiero sites that can answer this quick as crap and know this like a oil change.Kinda tired and hope this helps somehow.

I found out from looking at the proportioning valve that the rear brakes have more pressure than the front brakes do. This is causing the proportioning valve to be pressed forward and it's blocking off the fluid going to the front brakes. I don't see the logic in that design but whatever. I might turn the valve into something more like a distribution block.
