2004 - 2005 Lincoln Navigator
Wednesday, February 10, 2010 6:06 PM
My boss is thinking about getting one and he asked me to find any major problems that has happened to them. I did some research (google.com) and I read somewhere that 2005 was the least problem year out of all (from his year choice). I'm not on here VERY much maybe once in a blue moon, but if anybody has a serious responce. Please feel free to email me at caulkin@yahoo.com Much appreciated

Oh and yes, I still have the 02 cavalier with the 98z24 front end. 113k miles and she still starts right up during the cold

My mistake about the title of the thread, it's from 2004 - 2006 on the years

There all right Trucks,

They use Air shocks that will leak and sag the truck out and there very expensive to replace.

Also spark plugs on that 5.4L are not cheap, and that motor will burn more gas then the Vortec 6.0 in the caddy.

Coming from a Ford Guy.. Tell him to get an Escalade.

The only thing I am aware of are the two piece spark plugs that come apart at maintenance time. The business next door to my work will not touch the plugs on that particular engine or any other Ford engine using them.

And since when are plugs expensive? The stockers for my car are 6.99?

^ what...

the heads dont have that many threads and they pop out.

To fix it when they do pop out they put a theraded sleeve in the head and the plug threads into that.

I'll let him know. Disregard the email addy, I found a way I can log into jbody on my phone. I was wondering about the air ride too. I'll let him be aware of the spark plugs. Is there anything else?
