Guy i know who owns a garage got a 2000 s10 pick for a steal..put some money into it and now needs some cash so he wants to sell it.It's got the little 2.2 but its a 5 speed(which i like),reg cab,lowered on wheels and has an exhaust on it,motor has 80 k on it and it has a new frame....but it needs a few things.
Like a radiator,a windshield(which he has a replacement for) and a few of small things.Wants to sell it for 650 and i can work on it in his garage.
Whatya think?

For $650 you'd be crazy to pass that up. Parts for them are very easy to get at junkyards and since they are so plentiful they are cheap too.

Here's the thing...it was involved in a front end collision,the hood and fender are painted flat black,and the airbags when off....but the guy i'm buying it from has bags for it....The frame on it,however was replaced cause i assume it was bent.

was never in an accident. [he did however knock a mirror off
when backing out of a driveway - has been fixed]
it from new has been rino-lined, rust proofred the doors,
soft cover over the bed, and undercoated.
needs another undercoating tho after this winter
since this is the 10th winter, i would get it re-done after this!
factory options incuded the LS wheels, tinted windows, rear
window has slider window, cd player and automatic.
its a pewter color with black/graphite interior.
no real flaws [few little scratches...typical for old car stuff], no rust...
and you dont have to rebuild any of it or have any suprises about one that has been in an accident!
my brother has a 99 regular cab 2.2 5 speed. it's painfully slow, sucks ass in the snow, can't tow or haul anything, and can't fit more than 2 adults. absolutely worthless.

x2 i had a 98 for a year or so... was completely useless
the ohv is useless in a cav even more so in an s10 lol ... oh that stock form for all the OHv people
i have no idea what u guys are talking about! mine drives perfect
through the snow. i have 600lbs of sand bags in there....which i like
to keep in all year round, and only take out when im hauling something...
[for the better, car-like ride] and i have snow tires [tiger paws] on the rear,
and she drives right through everything! as for the OHV being useless?
its an S10, not a silverado....if you want to carry big heavy ass things, get a silverado HD.
its great for carrying normal things, like new furnature, metal scrap, snowblowers/lawn mowers....
i personally think they are great little trucks! and do not have any problems what so ever with mine!
u guys must just got some bad trucks...or maybe extended cab is different?
or maybe something besides the grille/headlights changed between 99 style to 2000+???

actually the headlights and grille change in 98
