As some people remember i atempted to build a time attack sunfire. Now i'm trying to build a time attack accord. If anyone knows of any websites that has serious performance parts for a 1995 accord, that would be very helpfull.

Unfortunatly, gutting the car would eliminate me from street FF, the class im planing on entering. A little more info on the car: it was a gift from an uncle, and i didnt have a choice on the trans. Its a slushbox. I plan to drop a H22 in and to convert it to a 5 speed. Race seats, cage and harnesses will go in as well. The main thing im having trouble finding are aero parts and composite fenders, doors etc.

I have, thats one reason i hadn't posted on here in a long time. The accord forums are more conserned with wheel offset and stance to give a crap about light weight parts.

They dont actually stick out that much, they run rediculus amounts of camber to keep them in the fenders. They even stretch the tires just to get that "hella flush" look. Do a google search for hella flush to see what im talking about.

If youre going for weight why use the H22? I hear theyre heavy engines.

The h22 is all aluminum (head and block), plus im going to be converting from auto to manual. Right now i have a f22b1, a sohc vtec engine that makes 145 hp. The h22 is the same displacement, but is a dohc vtec that makes around 200 hp stock. Or, if i can find an accord type r engine, which is a h22 variant, 220 hp.

Compared to a b-series, yes, a h-series is heavy. Compared to a stock single cam accord engine, no. I was considering b k24 with a k20 head, but thats way out of my budget.

To be honest I'd find one already modded because it would be cheaper in the long run. You can find dirt cheap modded hondas. I picked up a mint 94 accord ex wagon with an jdm h22a and trans, bolt ons, and 18's for $2500. My wife daily drives it and she loves it.

What would be the fun in that?

Besides, i wanna build it my way, 16 inch wheels, light wieght, foam filled chasis, seam weld the frame, basicly, make it lighter, stiffer, faster.
