it's all about the proper stance...

did a little work to our legacy today. initially we picked up the car to use as a rallyx beater. after installing the outback struts/springs and getting my old wheels back from a former car it looked something like this.

after some discussion with the wife, we decided that we were gonna sell the car as we currently have 3 subarus plus my sedan and 2 bikes and this car needed tires and a few other things. a friend of a friend heard we were selling and wanted to know if we wanted to swap suspensions. here's the outcome.

we swapped wheels and tires as well as there was no way the old ones would fit with it dropped. the new wheels have almost brand new tires on them. turns out i missed having a slammed legacy.

it's rough... it's rusty... but it's also paid for. looks like we'll be keeping it afterall.

i'll try to get some better pics in the near future.

lol, the first pic with the dog reminds me of the current ad campaign they have going on with the dogs going through the drive-thru.

I work on Wall Street, but didn't force you to take out a loan you couldn't afford.

Looks good, even with the slightly discoloured door and rust.

door is from a junkyard car and it's a 95 with 200k miles on it.

not too shabby for a $200 car though.

Lol i like the missing grill and bumper. It makes it looks like it is supposed to be shaved or something. You should put black painted chicken wire or something in there. It be funny, cheap, and would prbly look cool. And go to advanced and fill in those big fog light holes with a pair, i mean, it is a Subie after all. lmfao. P

And and you know all about Many big fog lights to begin with.

it will get fogs eventually... outback fogs are usually gone at the junkyard. i may throw a set of 500's in there but not for awhile.

Yeah ide imagine. Im going to assume its because they werent standard and were prbly quite expensive and now they are laying in the junkyard for a fraction of the cost. Haha bastards.

they came standard on the outbacks but as you mentioned, factory subaru parts are pricey. they tend to break easily too from stones being thrown up from other cars.
