I looked around for a couple months for a clean 240sx. I live in Tx so rust shouldn't be a problem but a lot of them were rusty as hell. From what I've seen, clean swapped SR20s have been selling for about 8-10K. So I'm not sure what to expect to pay for an RB.

If you want a clean car expect to pay for it...If it's at a low price there's a reason.

I can't find a local rb swapped car....lots of nice sr's for around 5 grand tho.

Good luck.

Just curious tho...why an rb?

IDK why 240 guys swap the ka for the sr...... a turbo'd ka will make around the same power without as much turbo lag

They say that the KA, when built, is more potent than any SR.

There's a guy two or three towns over that is selling a 302 powered 240 for 3K...but it's not running.

they probably do it for the weight. i would rather go the the trouble of swapping in the sr, putting in the crower stroker kit, and then building up a nasty turbo setup, but then again, i'm way too poor to, hahaha.

Man I hear ya. Running out of money or not having it sucks.....

I was all up and into the idea of buying a 240..but I sat in a couple of them..being 6'3" My head would just about rest on the damn headliner and it sure as hell hit the door frame. They're nice cars to mod off of though..

I'd assume you could get something amazing for that price. However..out of all your possibilities with 25K dollars in your hands, why a 240sx. Aren't there other better options out there?

I'm wondering the same thing.

For 25k you could get thing that handles like a dream and goes pretty fast in a straight line...or something that's just silly fast.

i want something that not every joe schmoe has, sick of seeing the same @!#$ day in day out.
turbo jbodys are becoming a daily routine, evos, skylines, cobalts, blah blah.
having a rb26 240 will be flying under the radar as far as insuring and shock value.
i was saying i have 25k available if there was one that was well worth the price. not saying id want to spend it all on one.

I understand where your coming from.Always fun having something not everyone has.

I'm sure you can find what your looking for within 25k.

i have only seen 3 (real, not that stupid X) evos and 1 skyline(sexy white r32or33)................. where do you live.

i like my 200sx idea better........ rb26 240sx has been done........ l28 200sx hasn't, and the l28 sounds better then the rb IMO
