hey guys,
This was my first time to the track with my Camry SE so my first run of the night really sucked and i got a 14.7@96 but then i figured out how to launch it better after a few tries. this car could easily be a few tenths faster stock if i was able to get some traction off the line and get the car to do at least a 2.2 sec for my 60ft... but hey i hit my goal of 14.3 stock so im happy.
i have no doubt that with some better street tires and some lighter rims i could break into 13's stock
here are my last 2 runs of the night... i have video too but i haven't uploaded it yet.

Did you have to hit the accelerator when you made the pass or do you just hold the brake in drive at the line and do nothing?

268 HP and 248 ft lbs is a lot. Even in a big car like the Camry, you can move pretty quick when you need to.

Funny how 4.6L Mustangs with 300 HP struggle to hit the same numbers tho...seems a bit skewed!

Wow. I was kind of going for HP vs. vehicle weight and 1/4 mile ET, but the angry-ness can't ever take a break I guess, LOL!

heh. Pretty solid stock times.. seems like there is room for improvement too. I don't hate mustangs, they look decent, and are as easy as hell to make fast. Other than the civic they probably carry the most aftermarket support of any car on the market.
I'm popping the BS flag on this one.
Using standard, proven, 1/4 mile MPH and ET calculators, this car would be capable of 14.68 seconds @ 91.27 MPH.
It would have to be putting down almost 300 WHP to run that 99.25 MPH. And it doesn't matter to me that it's a Toyota, so please, no one play THAT weak card, lol! Facts is facts.
