After taking a shuttle from Eau Claire to Minneapolis, a plane from Minneapolis to Milwaukee, another plane from Milwaukee to Kansas City, a rental car from Kansas City to Newton KS, and a looooong drive back to WI, I've got the car home! The Cav will stick around. I think it will turn into a dedicated track/autocross car. I've got waaaaay too much time and money invested in it to get rid of it. I doubt it will receive the attention it has in the past though. We'll see how ambitious I get. Anyway, on with the pics.

And had to throw in some new pics of the bike too....

Very nice on both parts.. I'm heavily considering one of these for my next car..
I love the MazdaSpeed's! It looks nice, and great choice in color =D
good stuff
how fast are them mazda's ?
I do really enjoy those cars but, I am left wondering what your hiding on the passenger side?
I also hate driving across Wisconsin. The drive to Milwaukee from central MN is horrendous.
Haha, nothing wrong with the passenger side. It was getting dark and I just snapped a few quick pics on my way home from work. The car is mint. It isn't super fast. They run 14.0 in the 1/4 stock. You can do some pretty simple upgrades that boost it from 274HP to around 330-350HP. I'm planning on getting a Cobb tuner, a DP, a Cobb intake, and possibly a front mount somewhere down the road. That should keep me happy.

I drove a speed 6 and wasn't impressed with it. I guess I was expecting more from a turbo'd car.
The speed 3 is a little faster but the 6 is definately a nice car and like you said there is some easy power to be made.
I didn't buy it for loads of power. It's a 2.3L 4 cylinder motor that's trying to move a 3700+ lb. car. But nonetheless it's pretty snappy. Not to mention the interior is awesome, cabin noise is very low, no creaks or squeaks, it rides and handles amazing, and it's a practical 4 door that looks decent. That's what I was after. If I wanted all out performance, I would have bought a Vette :-)

I love the Speed 6's... they are really rare, AWD, turbo'd, look great, and Japanese...
what more could you ask for?
Yeah the interiors are pretty clean. Mazda makes a nice car. I test drove an 09 RX8 R3, it looked (inside and out) amazing and handled awsome but it was too slow for me. But the speed 6 would walk all over a RX8. I think you made a mighty fine purchase. Oh and the bike is sweet but I would probably kill myself on one.
ya, i read in a mag that a intake gives these things alot of hp.
luke i thought this was you with your sunfire.

Very nice choice (Still would've voted for the SAAB
) Hope you're enjoying your new ride as much as I am mine! \
I LOVE the bike pictures by the way. Very awesome.
Congrats on the purchase man, I love it. Looks great.

Very nice man. I love the Speed 6's.
Bike looks pretty sick too.
I like them, they are just too heavy to be a competitive performance/sport sedan - near two tons!
But i agree - the interior is very nice, and you can find these things lightly used for dirt cheap considering the amenity and AWD.
