haha i like how people are saying "not impressed" and stuff like that. oh but when a j-body does it its the most amazing thing in the world. i would take a twin charged cobalt over a twin charged j any day...
very impressed with this, twin charging is neat.

I can't speak for anyone and I will go out on a limb, but the only thing I can guess as to why they think like that is because Cobalts came from the factory boosted, they were already blue-printed from GM to take the abuse of high force forced induction. Where you have Js in which you really can not say that. Sure you can say the Ecotecs and the TC had GMPP kits but it was a add on and the engines really were not engineered with the reinforced pieces like F/I engines in the Cobalts.
What's more, people had to fabricate their own piece on their own and use their ingenuity, where the others just went to a catalog and opened up their wallets.
For some, being original and seeing something that is not expected is more impressive.
Personally over 350-WHP on a FWD is useless especially when it is on dated chassis like on Delta or the J where putting that power to ground is even more difficult to do. Well, unless you're running with slicks all the time, by then you introduce a car that is not street legal. But hey, to each their own.
A positive note is that this car is a ripe contender for the exclusive Ibroke300.com

I think it is cool. The big argument most people use is that you can make 350+ on a turbo alone and superchargers are not as efficient. While that is true the supercharger gives strong low end tq that is not found in high hp turbo cars. This gives the car a much more use able power band when driving normally. I think saying that 350fwhp is useless on these cars especially the delta platform is a huge blanket statement and thus not true. From what I watched in the video it was very controlled even though he was intentionally inducing tire spin. The cobalts road coarse times prove the suspension is actually very good despite when it may have first come into production.
