^ well that's not fair. you forgot massive amounts of negative camber and wheel spacers. sometimes a lip kit.

Now and days? What about when body kits, neons, altezzas were te big thing. If you post a nice j with a body kit like 90 percent of the forum what's the difference? Most of these aren't even running stupid camber. It isn't as simple as slapping wheels on with a low offset and calling it a day. For one most of these wheels are expensive as @!#$. Then getting them to fit is a job in it's own. You don't roll the fenders on a nice car with a bat and call it a day.

well with what i'm seeing in al these posts now is tires stretched to the limit, a lip kit, ridiculous camber, the cars sit right on the lip of the wheel...i agree with the reply above as far as body kits neons and altezzas, nothing original there either, just saying wheres the imagination with these new trends....people like big poppa, bob mull, jo3y who built their cars into one of a kind show vehicles

They're all trends and they all start some where. This has been going on since the day and age of modding cars. I don't mean big lips, stretched tire, cambers. I mean trends. Its that way with everything. Clothing, cars, home decor, etc... Someone creates something original and people build off that idea.

i like most parts of this trend...people don't understand what it takes to be that low and still perform, most people with "nasty camber" are cranked down coilovers just for the show or they have bags still a feat at that, these cars are clean too.

The white 350z is rocking Work VS-XX's, same rims I Just bought for the lexus. Damn, I wish mine had a lip that big. LOL

I love the cleanliness of most of these cars. The OEM+ look is perfect. I HATE bodykits, so to see a car with just a nice lip kit, killer wheels, and nice stance is perfect in my book. Now I wouldn't go as low as these guys do, thats just nuts. Maybe airbags, but driving on coilovers that low, scraping your bumpers, tires rubbing the fender, etc, is just dumb... still gotta give them props for doing it though.

Damn that 350Z with the work rims looks damn nice. And I'm sorry, not a fan with the stupid camber but a nice slammed car that can actually run good times, now thats my goal =)

Most of those had decent camber. There were a few that were a little over the top, but none had the "OMG HOW THE HELL DOES HE EVEN DRIVE? That looks retarded!" camber on it.

Man.... I cant wait till I buy some wheels.

I love that people look at these pictures and think they drive like this. it's "stance" they don't drive the cars like this. it's meant to look like over exaggerated toon cars. They either crank the coil overs all the way down or slam the bags just for this show. And from what i saw no body in any of those pics had extreme stretched tires over wheels. Those are what 30 series or lower profile tires look like when done right.

I'm not saying people donl;t do that, but in my area they drive there cars low like that.

i'm all for functional camber but those that put 4-6 degrees just to fit a stupid wide wheel to under the car only to run a tire that's way to small to for the rim so it will all work just isn't for me.

but then again, i like a car that handles properly.

most of those actually didnt look to bad. s2000 was a bit much. and hard to tell if most were stretched or not. but they weren't over the top.

When I get back and put my new wheels on my lexus I'm want to be part of the Wrong Fitment Crew. They're like hellaflush but not as extreme. Usually just clean cars with really aggressive wheels without going stupid camber and insane about of stretch.
