Nice man! Clean looking car.

I don't know if you know but how similar is the 2.0T motors in some of the SABB cars to what's in my HHR SS? I always wondered.

I lived with an 04 Aero with the 2.0T for a year before I got this one with the 2.8T. More or less the 2.0T is an LSJ found in the early Cobalt SS with a turbocharger instead of a supercharger and is controlled my Saab's own turbocharging engine management technology. So, no direct injection, and a bit less power output, but still they're all Ecotec blocks.

Oh alright, Good to know.

I seen a SABB around here that has a X on the badge and it was AWD, they sure do make some nice models of the SABB cars. If i didn't buy my SS i would be looking for a AWD one lol

The AWD Saab is the 92X and it is basically a twin to the Subaru WRX.

New 93s and the new 95 have XWD (advanced AWD system developed with SAAB and Haldex [developers of the Audi R8 AWD system]) featuring an eLSD in the rear. Basically the best ever developed.

My only issue with this car/these pics. Where's the TIRE SHINE?! Haha, regardless, the SAAB looks great as always, and I love the shots. I need to work on my photoshop skills....

same reason they like interiors to look 'greasy'... .it looks better than dull, dry, and flat.

Haha, yes, I'm in York.

Its not tuned... yet... I'm still satisfied with the power coming from my N/A Cavalier and 2.0T 93. I'm debating whether to lower it more, or tune it next.

100$ for tuning Does the car have a factory wideband? Maybe at somepoint I could just read the stock tune so we can figure out if it's worth tuning with HPT or not

So how does the stock suspension on this car compare to the other GM models on this platform? It's an epsilon car right? Basically what i'm getting at is would the saab 9-3 suspension be an upgrade for a pontiac G6?

P.S. - big fan/love the pics

Its definitely worth tuning with HPT. Check out Vtuner. They use HPT to tune to 328 horsepower and 405 pounds of torque on stock hardware.

Yes, it started as a epsilon platform car. That's where the similarities end. Saab re-engineered the platform and 90% of its parts are unique to the 93. So, the 9-3 suspension would be a big upgrade for a G6... if you could get it to fit On Aeros, the suspension is actually upgrade compared to base. Its lowered 10mm and includes sway bars (older 93 bases didn't have them but they may now not sure). And the 9-3 has a passive steering independent suspension on the rear. I'm not sure of the G6 specs, but the 9-3 handles beautifully.

Haha, thanks. Yes, I agree it needs tire shine or at least tire matte finish. I'm currently all out.

Great looking Saab you got there.
I've always loved the Saab's for their unique look, key in the console, and typical Swedish styling.
I also love the color of the paint on the car. Very nice with all the metallic in the paint. Keep it looking deep by constantly waxing and polishing it to a nice luster that you can 'look into' the paint.
Enjoy your ride, it's quite beautiful for sure.

I always found car photoshoots done at cemeteries rather distasteful.
Nice car as always, but the setting's... well... retarded on your part.
