Setup is a Nikon D200, 12-24mm f/4 and two Nikon SB600's on stands with shoot through umbrella's. He uses Lightroom for editing. I have no idea what any of that stuff is, lol. Thats just what he told me.

A couple more photos

Listen...Who am I to judge? The car looks great, Requisite Opposing sex..etc..etc.. This is kind of a critic of trends lately, so I apologize for bitching;

But are we getting pics of the car or the rims? 3 of the 4 photos the wheels are the focal point. Pretty lame if you ask me. Kind of like having a swimsuit model and taking crystal clear, perfectly lit shots of her f-cking Earrings and nothing else. Hell half the car is shrouded in darkness....

Car is looking dope, still kick myself to this day for not picking up the is300 instead of my CTS back in the day..

Because the pics are of the Woman, not the Car......Thread needs to be titled: "Photoshoot of my rims"
Whatever, like I said just a critic. The trend now seems to be on individual parts and not the overall package. Guess I've officially lost touch with the modding scene

^^^^^How about people show whatever they want of their cars? I know my cars have better looking parts or angles than other parts.

I think it would be just plain boring if we start just taking only 4 pictures of our cars, left,right,back and front. But that's just me.

The reason the pictures are the way they are is because of the scenary we used. It was in an abandon parking garage. It was never mean to show the entire car. More as if it lurked from the shadows. Too many people here in fl use beach photos and I wanted something a little different. The reason I have a lot if shots of the rims is bc they were for other forums, fitment forums. The shots with the girl is of the girl. The car is just a back drop. Reason why I have some of the car and some of her. She is a friend and did the photos for free. She wanted some cute non slutty pictures that still looked hot to send to her husband on a ship. So worked for both of us. I posted them here because I like the photos and who doesn't want to see a pretty girl?

Cute chick, her husband should be happy with the tasteful yet sexy pics of her with a very clean IS! Love the color, LOVE the rims(You might have noticed I'm a sucker for gold rims, and I WANT YOURS on my car lol).

On the other hand....you have other fingers.

Lol thanks jl appreciate it. It's getting harder to be unique in the car scene. So I was just doing something I like that wasn't too played out yet. Black with a polished lip is just too played out. I know works like these aren't exactly uncommon but you don't see a lot around here. Rota's and other knock offs seem to be most popular.

Amazing pics. Love them!

I wish your rear wheels where wider tho IMO.

Yea, I wish they were a little wider also. They're an 18x10 though and on an IS300 it takes a little work just to get those to fit. I've seen 18x11.5 but he ran fender flares.

Damn I didn't realize they were 10 inches wide. With that width I'd imagine the dish would be deeper. What is the offset?

Even still, the wheels look fantastic on your car. The red/gold contrast is indeed money.

It's a +36 offset with a 5mm spacer. I really wish the lip was bigger. I've noticed the vs-xx doesn't run a big lip. Unless you go with a really wide and stupid low offset. Which I'd never be able to fit. Damn the is300's and they're small ass wheel wells.
