I went to the auto show today in St Louis and took a few pics:

and the veyron. I was wrestling between flash and no flash with my point and shoot. The difference is pretty cool.

id agree with candy over carbon, but wouldnt be surprised if it was colored CF too. esp for what you pay for the car.
All the carbon on my car has the same effect. Like you guys said its just a coating over the carbon.

Looks like Chevy's slightly darker version of a Steel Blue. I remember BMW's Steel Blue Pearl I had my old car painted. Very similar.

The guys standing around the ones they had at Barett Jackson last weekend told me it is candy clear coat, not actual colored carbon.
I'm all about American sports cars but how could I not fall in love with the R8 every time I see one? lol.
CTS V Coupe looks pretty terrible to me. I don't know if its the angle but it reminds me of an accord cross tour just with 2 less doors.

The Veyron looks totally out of this world! Worn out tires in a show FTL though...The CTS-V coupe looks really boring and cheaply thrown together.
Camaro convertible would look great in a gay pride parade, but that's just my opinion.
