Better than I thought it would be, but only watched episode 1. I kind of had a thought how I would of done the show, however. The cast on the original Top Gear is just so funny and they all have good chemistry with each other (especially when they are just cheesing out on the show), and I don't think anyone could match it. So in the American version instead of going for "funny," they should have gone with eye candy instead. U.K. people just love cars, over here in the states we love girls & cars lol. So maybe one or two of the hosts could have been really really hot b*tches that also knew their cars too (which is very sexy
). Kind of like that chick that used to host Spike TV when they were playing all their car and truck shows.
BTW, I never knew that viper could run with a Cobra helicopter lol. But they definately had some trouble blending in, with that viper paint, even from the sky ha.
Watch later on. It gets much better. I think the turning point is the first used car challenge then either the Detroit episode or the tough trucks one is the best from the season. I think by next season it'll be as good as the UK version.

Let's hope so. I watched the entire season as soon as they came out and every episode Adam looks
painfully awkward.
I just like how they started calling Foust breakfast club. I dont think adam's all that bad, he's that guy who'd kind of a car guy that all the real car guys hates because he loves caddy's and doesn't realize that rides like a Cadillac is an insult.

I like the show, on episode 9.. pretty funny to me too. episode 9 especially. But then most people are expecting it to be like the original Top Gear so i can see why there disappointed but i like it. it was never supposed to replace the UK version, just a second version to a great concept

I have to disagree, I like all 3 guys on the show, all different types of characteristics and there funny together

Some people do not like to feel the impact when you run over a ant. To some, "Rides like a Cadillac" is no insult by any means.
Personally they should remove red headed bastard child, Rick Astley look-a-like [Tanner Foust]. His smug attitude and douche demeanor should be left at the dumpster. If you don't know who Rick Astley is:
Adam makes me laugh and he is the only one that gives color to this dull show.
Rutledge Wood is an airhead, but comes off as if he's having fun.

As far as I am concerned, Foust is able to back up what he says with his experience. Yeah he is young and cocky, which doesn't suit well with the older generation, but they are trying to reach all the right demographics. The Italian "Blow-Hole" (Ferrara) can go anytime now. New Yorker smug is something I can't stand, personally. Wood does well enough to keep the older audience entertained.
Fortunately Astley's [Foust] "experience" does not shine in the show; more reason to deem him useless for the show.

US Top gear ruined my face.

Oh he takes his talents to "Supercar Challenge" as well. He's pissed off Paul Tracy on every episode.
i like all three hosts, adam ferrara does standup and is hilarious, foust can drive, and rutledge.... well fat guys are funny..
they have a good dynamic, i hope the show gets picked up for another season
REally Foust teaching a blind guy to drive and drift doesn't take talent?
That part was sweet.
I accidentally the SHIFT LIGHT!!!!!!!!!!
The proper way of using the word seen. It is not I seen it that would be I saw it. He has seen the car is the right way to use the word. English class is Cool. By the way thats my sig
The Tundra in Ep9 is hilarious.
Rutledge Wood is what ruins this show for me. he's not a funny fat guy. Chris Farley was a funny fat guy. Wood is just really annoying.
why worry about if the show is funny or not? maybe i didnt watch enough of the annoying brit version for comparison, idk... but to me, id rather watch it for the car information. if i want comedy, well... ill go watch the comedy channel.
If it takes forever.... I will die trying. Underdog Racing

That's the thing about the Brit's.... Somehow their humor ties in with their car reviews. Can't explain it.

Brit humour is absolutely hilarious! I love it! It cracks me up!
And, I don't find Adam Ferrara fits in that well. He is my least favorite of the hosts. I like Tanner because he can drive and he seems to have similar ideas as me when it comes to what cars he likes. And Rutledge Wood is FUNNY! He did a few stupid things over the season, but overall he was by far the funniest/most entertaining host.
