I am able to get this from a friend for 3500 cash..... what does anyone think of the LT1s. It will be a spring/summer car and sit in a heated garage over winters.

Spec clutch and fly wheel (30 thou miles on it, rated for 475 ft/lb torque) msd coil and 6a ignition box, new opti-spark, Heads are port and polished, exhaust is a empty cat and a flowmaster 40 series. 1.6:1 rocker arms, cold air intake, electric water pump. Eibach springs, new shocks, edelbrock control arms, pan hard bar, and torque arm. Racing sway bars. Has summit racing seats in it, but I do have factory seats. Car handles like its on rails! Car does need tires, and is peeling clear coat. "

sounds like too much money. Buy a 95 lt1 or just go out and find a ls1 and call it a day. Ive bought a hand full of lt1 Camaros for 2k. keep on looking

Sounds high to me too....it should be mint for that money

93 is a bastard year for the f body it has many one year only things like a speed density system, and I believe the trans isn't a t56 in 93 it's called something else. I had 2 lt1 cars and they were fun when they ran right, which wasn't very often. Lots of electrical problems, opti spark problems, and a complete bitch to work on. I'd never own another lt1 car. LS1 or bust.
